“Jesus (Yeshua) loves me this I know – for the Bible (TaNaK*) tells me so
Little ones to Him belong – they are weak but He is strong…”
*TaNaK is an acronym for Torah, Neviim and Ketuvim (Hebrew words for Law, Prophets and Writings). All of Christendom knows these book groupings as the “Old Testament!”
Yeshua (meaning “Salvation!” in Hebrew) is mentioned over 29 times in the TaNaK (Old Testament) – over 187 times if you count the alternate spelling of His name, Yehoshua (Joshua meaning YHWH is Salvation)!
“Behold, YHWH has proclaimed unto the end of the world. Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold your Yeshua (Jesus) comes; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work is before Him.” (Isaiah 62:11)
There are also several hundred direct prophecies, mostly not naming Him directly, but which detail the fearful aspect of the God-Man, Messiah Yeshua, in the TaNaK. Considering only 48 of those undeniable prophecies in the TaNaK, the probability of Yeshua of Nazareth, born in Bethlehem, fulfilling all 48 is 10^157 power (Peter Stoner).
That’s a lot of zeros. In other words. Impossible.
But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)
