Why did Israeli PM Netanyahu apologize to Turkish PM Erdogan immediately after US President Obama left Israel? There are, no doubt, logistical reasons to do with the region.
But Netanyahu apologizing to the Turkish people does not remove the facts and actual history of the Turkish-government-subsidized IHH (Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief or Insani Yardim Vakfi) intention to either martyr the terrorists on the ship or to transport weapons into Gaza.
At the time of the incident with the “Terror Flotilla,” lead by the ship Mavi Marmara, UCI made this video showing the actual events as they transpired.
For THIS, Netanyahu need not apologize! The fact that he did, to me, only points to the desperation for cooperation rather than to the nature of the truth.
Keep this tension of truth vs. lies in mind when you consider Israel in your prayers today.
“As it is written, ‘Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.'”
[UPDATE: (from the same author as above-referenced IHH article) “Friday’s surprise apology by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan could potentially mean the return of Israeli tourists to their once-beloved holiday destinations on the ‘Turkish Riviera’, according to tourism industry executives in Israel.” Read the rest of the article here.]
